GAP

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)⁴ provides a little extra coverage beyond your auto insurance. If your vehicle is stolen or totaled, the majority of insurance companies will only pay up to the book value of the vehicle, leaving you to pay the difference. GAP would cover that difference: between what the insurance company pays toward the loan, what is left of the loan balance, and the deductible up to $1,000. GAP through the Credit Union also provides $1,000 toward purchasing a replacement vehicle if financed through the Credit Union within 90 days.

Guaranteed Asset Protection can be added to any auto loan within 12 months of purchasing the vehicle. To add GAP, call us at (865) 544-5400 or visit any branch!

PAYMENT PROTECTION WITH LIFE PLUS⁵

Life is unpredictable. Payment Protection with Life Plus offers a safety net for your loans during unexpected life events such as illness, hospitalization, loss of life, and more. Debt Protection can be added at any time during the life of the loan and can offer peace of mind for yourself and your family members.

TRAVELERS INSURANCE⁶

As a Member of Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, you may also be eligible for discounted protection rates not offered to the general public through Travelers Insurance.

Travelers offers special program rates, generous discounts, and savings advice. To request a quote, call toll-free 800-842-5936 or visit the Travelers website. Be sure to have a copy of your current policy handy when requesting a quote.

SKIP-A-PAYMENT⁷

Member accounts in good standing can apply to Skip-A-Payment for a $35.00 fee after making at least three payments on their loan. Skip-A-Payment can be used two times per 12-month period.
