Member Perk:
All Members are registered to receive card fraud texts from the shortcode phone number 37268 should a fraud alert occur on their account. Members will not be charged for the texts. Alert opt-out option available.

Text Alerts⁵

Set text alerts to notify you when a payment posts to your account or your balance falls below a certain amount. You can even set alerts to notify you when a deposit post to your account. Enrolling is an easy two-step process:

Step 1:

Log in to Online Banking
Click Additional Services
Select Alerts
Click Add New Delivery Option
Set Delivery Type to Text Message
Enter a Nickname
Enter your cell phone number
Click Save Delivery Option

A security code will be sent to the cell phone number used during setup. Enter the Security Code and click Submit. You will receive a confirmation text when your cell phone number is successfully registered as a delivery option.

STEP 2: Create Text Alerts

Return to Alerts under Additional Services in the main menu
Under the Navigate Alerts menu, click Add New Alert
Choose A Deposit is Posted to Your Account, then click Next
Create an Alert Nickname
For Delivery Option, select the Nickname you chose in STEP 1 for your Text Message Delivery Option
Select the Account to Watch, then Click Save Alert
Repeat Step 2 to set up additional Text Alerts

HOW TO SEND MONEY:

Log in to the KTVAECU^® mobile app or Online Banking.
In the menu, select Send Money.
Type in the email or mobile phone number of who you would like to send money.
Retype the email or mobile phone number to confirm.
Enter the amount you would like to transfer.
Select the debit card you would like the transfer to come from.
Check the box accepting the terms and conditions.
Tap Confirm.

SEND MONEY SAFELY!

Cash apps are one of the easiest and fastest ways to transfer cash from one person to another. But there are a few things you should know to keep your information and money safe when using cash apps:

Safety Tip #1

Because the transfer is considered a cash transaction, it’s best to transfer to individuals you know, like friends or family, not a company. There are no dispute rights for cash transactions.

Safety Tip #2

Never pay someone you don't trust for something promised to you in the future, like a deposit for a cruise or hotel. Sending money through cash apps is instant and usually cannot be canceled. When purchasing a product or service, it's best to use another form of payment.

Safety Tip #3

Do not provide anyone with your personal information like your PIN or sign-in code. Fraudsters are always trying to gain access to your personal information. If you're not sure, just delete the email, text message, or hang up the phone and call the business directly. If it’s a legitimate company, they will be glad you’re taking steps to keep your information secure.
