How to Freeze/Unfreeze Your Card

To freeze or unfreeze your card at any time, follow these steps:

Open the Control My Card by KTVAECU^® app or access it through the KTVAECU mobile app and sign in.
Tap Lock Card.
A box will pop up asking if you want to lock your card. Tap Lock Card.

A message will appear stating, “Card is locked.” No transactions will be able to clear your card until you unfreeze it.

To unfreeze your card, follow these steps:

Open Control My Card by KTVAECU^® through the Control My Card by KTVAECU^® or the KTVAECU mobile app and sign in.
Tap Unlock Card.
A box will pop up asking if you want to unlock your card. Tap Unlock Card.

You can now begin using the card again.

HOW TO SET UP NOTIFICATIONS

To set up notifications for your card, follow these steps:

Open Control My Card by KTVAECU^® through the Control My Card by KTVAECU^® or the KTVAECU mobile app and sign in.
Tap Alerts & Controls.
Tap Alerts.
From here, you can choose to receive alerts for all transactions, no transactions, or customize your alerts.
Tap Let me customize my alerts and choose what you would like to receive.

Select “Control My Card” from the side menu
Download the Control My Card App
Follow the prompts and set your security preferences

FOR PARENTS

Control My Card by KTVAECU® is a great resource for parents whose kids have a debit card! You can manage nearly every aspect of their card, like when and where their card can be used, what merchants their card can be used for, as well as freezing and unfreezing the card. You can also set up real-time notifications for their card, so you never miss a transaction.
